Gallienus, 253-268. Antoninianus (Billon, 22 mm, 1.93 g, 5 h), irregular mint, imitating Cologne, after 258. GALLIENVS P F AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gallienus to right. Rev. VICT G[E]RMANICA Victory standing right on globe, holding wreath in her right hand and trophy over her left shoulder; two seated captives flanking globe. Cf. Cohen 1062, MIR 874l and RIC 49 (for prototype). An attractive contemporary imitation of rather convincing style. Good very fine.
